One of the issues that concern the parents of persons with disabilities, and those involved in special education in general, is the inability or difficulties faced by persons with mental disability to create and maintain friendships with disabled and non-disabled persons. This programme is addressed to children and adults with Down's Syndrome aged from 5 to 40 years old, who are divided into 4 age groups, and is run by volunteers.
Each year, 35-40 children and adults with Down's Syndrome take part in a summer camp programme organized by POSGAMEA (Pan-Hellenic Federation of Societies of Parents and Guardians of Disabled People) for associations and societies all over Greece.
The objective of this Special Summer Camp Programme is the socialization pf disabled people, providing relief for families and carers, preventing social exclusion and promoting the acquisition of work experience by young professionals.
Drama education aims to develop the communication skills of persons with Down's Syndrome and promote their social integration.
Theatre offers the opportunity to persons with disabilities to express themselves in verbal and non-verbal ways, to work together as a group, to use their imagination and creativity. It also contributes to the linguistic, emotional and social development of children/persons with Down's Syndrome.

Our mission is to develop actions related to specialised training and organised activities for persons with Down's Syndrome, in order to create a supportive learning environment and provide a recreation program for our beneficiaries.
